Where Can I Serve as a Member of Faith Bible Fellowship?

Jesus commanded his disciples to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important marks of this church is our mission to the world. It begins with personal evangelism in our own community and then spreads to every nation. Our members are involved in a variety of ministries.

Missions

The purpose of the Mission Ministry at Faith is to reach those who are outside the walls of our Church with the message and the love of Jesus Christ. We do this by ministering to all we meet, especially those who are unsaved. We are blessed to be able to serve in the mission field in our community, nationally and internationally with our prayers and through our work with missionary organizations and by supporting Bible Fellowship missionaries.

Supported Bible Fellowship Church Missionaries

The Moyes – Seferino and Teodolina serve in the village of Oromomo. Teodolinda cares for their four children, teaches in women’s Bible study and children’s church, and disciples women in her heart language, Yuracaré. Seferino, known as Chepe, is an elder in Emmanuel Church and teaches in Spanish. He disciples believers and participates in evangelism opportunities along the Sécure River, especially in his hometown, Totora.  The Moyes work with ITM

The Blausers – Glen and Leah Ruth do logistics work for JAARS.   They package and ship supplies and other materials needed by Bible translators all over the world.
The Keeners – Andy and Lori joined Wycliffe in 1992 with a desire to be part of a people group that received God’s Word in their language. They served for eight years facilitating a Bible translation project among the Teribe people of Northwestern Panama. Currently they are focusing on Bible translation needs for the deaf community.

The Merricks – Chris and Becki serve on the Bible Fellowship Church Board of Missions.  They plan, coordinate and run short term missions trips for the denomination as well as provide practical support for churches.

Worship Team

At Faith we have four marks we demonstrate as a Bible-believing, disciple-making church. The first mark is that we are grounded in prayer and authentic worship. Our worship team falls under this mark. At Faith, authentic worship means the songs we sing will point us to the Lord. We purposefully choose music (both modern songs and traditional hymns) that are theologically sound and focus us on the Trinity, comprised of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We recognize music is a way to praise and thank God for the salvation that He has offered us freely, even though we don’t deserve it. It is also a way that we can prayerfully prepare our hearts to hear what God has prepared for us to hear from the Bible and a way to reflect on what he has taught to us.

Ushers

An usher is a spiritual ambassador for the Church. They are a group of qualified men who are eager to serve in areas of taking offering and in the area of hospitality. Men are sought out who possess a servant’s heart, committed to the vision, mission and marks at Faith, supportive of the leadership and most importantly enjoy and care about people.

Faith Kids

Our mid-week children’s program, Faith Kids, is an opportunity for kids to experience Jesus’ love and grow in faith alongside their friends. We teach them through music, games, devotions, Bible stories, faith talks, prayer, and caring for others. Every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm, the kids are led by devoted teachers and leaders excited about growing little disciples for Jesus.

Youth Group

At Faith we are intentional about leading our students to live a life dedicated to Christ. Open to students from 7th through 12th grade, our youth group offers a place for kids to make friends, learn, and have fun- all while growing in their relationship with God.  We meet every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm.
